DEADLY HANDS OF KUNG FU #12 (1975) feat Roger Moore's JAMES BOND, 68 pgs

Condition: VERY GOOD/FINE 4.0 per Overstreet Comic Grading standards. The cover has minor small tears particularly at the spine area with one or two minor imperceptible crease lines on the front cover. It also has a small but negligible surface tear on the upper left corner of the same front cover; negligible as it somehow complements the blue and cloudy sky background art where it is found. The back cover though, ("Never Finished High School") shows a prominent crease/fold in the upper left corner (Please see photo accompanying this ad). Significantly, some repair job was undertaken as the loose cover as pasted back on the spine. These defects aside, the 68 pages (including cover) are flat with minor, faint hint of a spine roll. The corner edge of the pages are commonly blunt, and are tan to off-white and not brown or brittle. Overall, a well maintained and kept black and white comic magazine.

A hard-to-find Marvel black and white martial arts magazine of the 1970s. It highlights the 1974 Roger Moore Bond film: THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN and features an in-depth lengthy article and critical assessment of the film by DON MCGREGOR. Partly shot in Thailand, the film also features martial arts fight scenes covered by this issue. A great gift to Bond fans and admirers of Rudy Nebres, George Perez and Rico Rival.

This is a highly sought and rare collector's item not only for JAMES BOND enthusiasts, but for fans as well of NEAL ADAMS who painted the cover art. The cover art was apparently based on one of the photo articles of Moore in Karate outfit punching a Kung Fu goon, as provided in one of the photos accompanying this ad. This issue of DHKF also features inside front cover art by Gray Morrow of Moore's Bond. See photos accompanying this ad.

This issue also marks the debut of FILIPINO comics artist RUDY NEBRES to the MASTER OF KUNG FU feature of the title. The second comics feature: SONS OF THE TIGER features art by GEORGE PEREZ (penciler) and FILIPINO artist RICO RIVAL (inker)

Price: USD$ 20 or Php880
